Meet Your Instructor

Jenny Hassell

With years of experience as a dedicated Nosework competitor and trainer, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to every training session. My mission is to provide a fun and supportive environment where both you and your dog can thrive.

My deaf Australian Shepherd boy, Fletcher (aka Donkey), pictured with me here, is the poster boy for Nosework; it’s inclusiveness and the joy that it brings to your relationship.

I would like to thank Confident Canines for capturing these wonderful Nosework moments with him for this website.

12 Years Experience

Jenny’s interest in K9 Nose Work® stems back to it’s very beginnings in Australia around 2012 when Marion Brand bought the game here from the US knowing it was a game changer for dogs.

She started The Dog Nose It in August 2023 from a desire to share this amazing scent detection game with as many dogs and their handlers as possible.

You want an instructor who is not only extremely passionate about this sport, but qualified and with competition experience in both ACSW and ANKC trails… so look no further!
